LADY HORTICULTURIST IS FORMING A PARTNERSHIP WITH BICTON COLLEGE
Lady Horticulturist is very proud to anounce that she is taking on young adults with learning difficulties from Bicton College, that enjoy having the experience and to be able to develop skills in a practical manner. It is all too often that people with learning difficulties get brushed to one side and never get given a chance to flourish. I know this all too well from my own experience dealing with my learning difficulties which are dyslexia and dyscalculus. Some employers find it very difficult to deal with matters in the workplace regarding learning disabilities/difficulties. I feel very strongly that when working with people with learning difficulties that we are able to adapt and to think outside the box and to recognise their hidden talents which can be very valuable to a business when given a chance. I also feel that there are many cases when young adults are better off by being given practical skills which can be more rewarding as they can see the results that they are achieving.
